New Year

Another year is coming to an end, and thank God many good things came with it. Christmas was not bad at all, I love when my parents start talking about how it was when they were small.
It makes you think how things have changed, and how we always live in a hurry. For example, how my dad spent Christmas with my grandmother, they ate turkey alright, but, my grandma used to buy the turkey three weeks before Christmas, she got it fat and on the 23th. she started preparing the turkey (yes the 23rd), they made everything by hand. I bet that would have tasted so delicious!

Right now it's so comercial, everything is so comercial, and if you don't beleive it, just go to a shoppnig mall or supermarket, they are starting to sell Valentine's Day stuff, yes, Valentine's Day, on the 26th. they were starting to take down the decorations, how about New Years?!?
Just for a moment on New Year's Eve, sit down and reflect on what you have done this year, what you have achieved and be thankful of what you have, and pray for the ones who are not so furtunate than us.

Hope you have a happy and healthy 2007
